Find Your WayA Poem by Miele1228Sarah, oh Sarah You just want respect, Disdain for your brother You think your life’s wrecked; Just utter some words, Your brother goes away Oh to say those words you mustn’t say, But one night it becomes too much She must say the words! Her voice fills with glee; Goblin king, Goblin king Take this child of mine far from me But oh no, that’s not it The child must stay I wish I knew the words, To make you go away Then suddenly her eyes fill with light As the words inside her mouth begin take flight Oh, these words she could almost say with a bow I wish the goblins would take you away, Right now. After what happens next She’s filled with dismay The Goblin king, Really took him away Then he appears, Sarah fills with fright You get but one chance, And you must get it right 13 hours to find your way You must find your brother, In less than a day She roams around Going this way and that One door brings survival Choose the other and splat! Oh this labyrinth So much Sarah hates Wills she find her brother? Only time will tell But as for right now Her life’s living hell; Does she find her brother? Maybe, we’ll see Someone might tell you But that someone’s not me. © 2011 Miele1228Author's Note
