I am me.

Today, tomorrow, forever

I am who I am

And I will never stray

 

You are you

Now and I can’t change you

Why should I?

We all have different views and ways of living

 

I write my poems and stories

You sing your songs

Why should either of us change?

We are perfect in our own little ways

 

Everybody show your faults

They make you unique, and special

We’re all different

So who’s to judge what is right or wrong?

 

We may share similar views

But the ones we differ on is what brings us closer
