What Happened?

I look around
All around I see
Crying and sadness
Surrounding me

What happened to the old days?
Does depression come with age?
When your young it's easy to be happy
But as life goes on we're filled with rage

Cartoons and candy
Is all we worried about
Now everything that's said
Brings a rumor around

What happened to the smiles?
I miss them
Just remember you control your own life
Don't let others bring you down
