Nevermore, Edgar Poe.A Poem by Miele1228I reallyyy love Edgar Allan Poe... So I wrote this(: lemme know what you think? Favorite lines? Feedback please!
Nevermore declared the writer Edgar Poe
While the tell tale beat And pendulum swung to and fro As the drive of revenge takes a life in the pits of the catacombs Such great minds as these so sparse in the new As Poe masqued death! In the tint of the 7 rooms There is a light tap at the library door, The haunting damnation of a vengeful black cat The madness Poe often rung untrue Often hold a place inside many-including you So take to the pen and paper! Just as many have before, Write your tell tale heart! Or cask of amontillado. Nevermore! Declared Poe until his eyes laid to rest Opening up his mind- his stories, make us his guest. © 2012 Miele1228 |
