gift for me

gift for me

A Poem by isus

living in fantasy better than here,
stoned alone i wish i could hear
sound of your voice and grass of your eyes
only for you i'd trade my skies
and sell my soul, 'cause you are the one
i think i could know

goddess is powerful in her arms
now i am walking over cursed ground
she is my heroine, why won't she save me
from demon's heart burning inside?

walking through worlds,
collector of beings
making us all hungry
and in the wish of poison..

It is a dangerous garden we all walk through. Love is a minefield. You've captured that here.

Reminds me of my most serious relationship. First stanza is very good. The third stanza is weak and did not elicit much emotion for me.

You certainly evoke some interesting imagery. You are definitely one I think I could know!

Wow, this is a very powerful and thought provoking piece youve written. I expecially love the second stanza, but the line that stands out to me most is 'only for you i'd trade my skies and sell my soul, '" the beauty in these words grabbed my attention. Love intwined in such creative imagery. A great write my friend!
