Day

faded away

two steps ahead

of the mind

in my head,

want you to be here,

in my mind, so you can hear

all this dreary talk;

But before you 

walk in nest

of thoughts and dreams

that never rests,

you should know

that you may find

yourself in there,

-but who would care?

The first stanza is superb. I love the idea (and my reality) of my mind being two steps ahead, with that special someone hidden within the confines of all that clutter.

This reminds of the way I used to write when I was younger. Just very raw and honest. And thoughts of the simplest things and their deeper meaning. I liked it.

In every nest of dreams, a few eggs hatch, but who cares other then the hatchling and her mother, but that's all that matters. A mood is created.
