Really interesting! It seems to me that the first part refers to a sort of innocent enthusiasm for achieving something and the second part is about an apathy that gradually develops through frustration after achieving that something. Great job man, you've said so much with so little.

Powerful underlying meaning for sure. 'Green' is symbolic in this poem of creative power, the power to build on earth in a positive manner, but when 'red' is in the head, symbolising death, it becomes the destructive power and burns up the earth via pollution, etc.
This is what I was able to surmise, anyway. Is this what it means?

I like this and I like the length. It gets directly to the point but still creates a vivid image and emotion that the readers create for themselves. It makes you want more but the fact that you don't get more just adds to what you take away. Or what it takes away from you. I say very well done =)
thanx for reading, glad you like it, now i might just keep it that way

Sometimes less is more and when evoking emotion without a reason why, the less information, the more.. read moreSometimes less is more and when evoking emotion without a reason why, the less information, the more it resonates. In my opinion.
Green means authorization, approval and permission. Red sun means danger or death. How come I smell an approval of death in here?
I don't know about the structure of this short free verse. What I feel is that I'm not comfortable with the commas especially at the end of the first verse (I prefer period for the end and no commas at the previous lines)
Thanks for the share.

yeah, thanx for rewiew, i have to complete it anyway so you was helpfull
So my interpretation is that green represents something new, fresh, etc. I see red as danger. After a few reads I'm getting that this is about making a mistake. I'm picturing a 15 year old girl or something like that. It did take me several rereadings to come up with that, which isn't a bad thing. I think if I read it a few more times I would come away with a different conclusion, which is really the great thing about poetry isn't it?
