One man gone

One man gone

A Poem by isus

The world of silent words
can tell me where to go
if I could only hear
pictures of their show.

Strange is way I looked
at one who I don't know,
one that's getting close
to the galows pole.

And he slowly turned my head,
showed me abyss of the dead -
path all mortals need to walk.

For the moment I felt free,
then I felt so terribly,
that my voice could never talk.

one of my older works
The silence reminds me of those dreams where one cannot scream or yell no matter how much he opens his mouth or tries. That's how I felt when I read your poem. Good job!

I guess lol!
i loved the poetry in this especially this verse:

And he slowly turned my head,
showed me abyss of the dead -
path all mortals need to walk.

I will admit I am a bit confused by those last two lines. ; )

im glad you find it good, thank you :)
I get the impression that the death penalty is some where amongst these lines. For the moment I felt free,

then I felt so terribly,

that my voice could never talk.

Its that last verse that throws me off. However well written and I love how the words transcend you into the piece.

thanks, i think we are all faceing deat penalty, its the way it suppose to be :)
I might be wrong, but I'm getting that the protagonist is being murdered. Regardless of how accurate that interpretation might be, this is a great piece.
