Hunter-Killer

Hunter-Killer

A Poem by isiah_holmes

I heard the hunters call
Hunter-Killer, he has a story to tell
He told his friends to stall
That man's mind is tall with souls to sell

I saw him herding, herding, herding
Herding mindless lamb's this way
I watched him dig deep inside their chests
And take their lives away
He's a killer, he's a killer, killer killer smiling right at you
And I don't want him to say he'll use you as food
And his voice deep inside my brain say's he's not the same!
He's not the same!

I don't know where he's from
I don't care if his birth went well
I don't know if he's far
Breathing down your neck through a snipers lens
And he's needing, needing, needing to satisfy his rage
His rage his rage locked in a cage, waiting to engage
And the soldiers that march with him fear his dim eyes!

The night is long
Broken letters, pictures burned in the page
He's going to find them all
Corner them scared screaming he don't care
And every feeling, feeling, feeling is void from his teeth
Fangs sharp with frightened fear
And those who run from hunters smile say
He must die!
