Young catographer

Young catographer

A Poem by isiah_holmes

Lately things seemed confused, scrambled
Neatly disorganized in the darkness of my mind
Behind my eyelids
Behind my eyelids i spy a grandiose
A treasure, a glimpse of bliss wrapped in madness

I could feel it coming on, laughing at my intentions later on
t began one afternoon, hours past midday
I became the company of a friend
The company of my companion, for now
My cohort, for a time
A friend
We breathed in the means to new perception
The thick cloud deemed sinful by our leaders
The leader of a part of this vast tribe
A tribe known as mankind

Unintentionally, i ventured deep into the confines of
of,of
My mind
Without a treasure to find, a token of worth to track down
To that i allowed this welcomed reaction to take me
Take me, lift me away
Peel me from my flesh and organs and pain
I left my body and found fearful bliss

I opened my eyes fearfully, intimidated by the infinite
Frightened by unfiltered power, unfiltered power
I grasped reality too quickly, so suddenly
So wrong, because of that i fear i never truly left that place
So i realized later on
As i accepted yet another channeling, this time alone
Each one more vivid than the last
Each one different yet identical to the last
Human words could not possibility glimpse such a thing
Capture
Seize such..truth, such a thing as the mind

I saw energy creatures dancing through a thick dark Ora
I spied like an assassin, two characters find one another
Identical in spirit yet separate in flesh
They frequently come then fade away once more
Happy and content somewhere deep away
I glimpsed a spinning dial lined with eyes sealed shut
Eyes that opened and stared at my true self
Crying voicelessly from where ever they were born
I ventured avenues of "Away", realms of the other
And when the cold place was tired of my curious eyes
When they began to believe i had seen enough
They silently suggested i leave, go back to my world
My room, my hole
Though i never left
Though i ache to return for a longer stay one eclipse soon
