Post-evolution

Post-evolution

A Poem by isiah_holmes

They're shifting and they're moving beneath
My own perceptions
Calling from dim colors
Moaning for true direction
When the gods were calling
As their music falls on deaf ears
As the gods were calling-enchanted paths, regretful baths
Crawling for beginnings the sparrow
Shed all his feathers
Tearing from the flesh to sever
His earthly tethers
Now his feathers are drifting
Watch a feather drift past-fly by
As his father smiles-dive from the sky
Dive from the sky
Dive from the sky
When his mother
leaves she
Won't return
Anger builds I
need to burn
Turning, flowering, drifting-watching
Gliding-through the trees
Gliding through the trees
Gliding to the sea
Creep along the storm, earn the
Typhoons affections
Stomp towards the ground to mark the
Tornado's reflections
I once knew a boy, his name
Hunter-killer
He smiled at burned corpses
Pregnant with his resources
Scream!!!
Hunter-killer
Slew his
Special friend
Lonely halls, my friends pretend
Hunter-killer, his good friend!
It..Never ends, it never ends
This never..ends..
