What you find locked in the mind

What you find locked in the mind

A Poem by isiah_holmes

Deep inside my nightmares I am brave

         I never cry

In this way I will behave

         Im filled with soft lies

Lovely girl, I know that you think that I am sick

Sometimes i feel like a manikin

     Made of thin sticks

Cheerful snakes laugh at my kind mistakes

   What you mistook

Write my name down in your little book

So you can take a look

Lies! Cries! The things that you despise

Little girls just wait for the sun to rise

Say! Say! Your just a filthy lay

Sleep by day in order to evade your hate!

        Im too late!!

Crawled inside my head, and in my bed

      I once said

Rotting flowers mark your sharp disguise

     Now try to hide

Broken glass sticks inside all my toes

     Oh god it hurts..

Year's of pain i found locked in your eyes

    Oh yes it shows!

Lies! Cries! The things you found inside

My dearest friend isnt on my side

Fly! By! I hate to see you cry

Just please try to say that you are fine!

This friend of mine! Say your fine!

Thats what you'll find! locked in my mind!!

She'll look inside my mind to find

       My old heart

I turned it off a while ago

I think it needs to start

Troubled children line the hall's in fear

             What did they hear?

They bother me as they sneak and creep

    When im

        Trying to sleep!!

Dark! Dark! Your name scratched in tree bark

Stand at the gate, await your cruel fate

       Late! Late!

Suspect that its too late

It's too late to say your afraid of the dark!

       Leave your mark!

       Leave your mark!

      You left your mark!!!
