River trailA Poem by isiah_holmesA poem i wrote about a school called river trail elementry
Little blind girl, dont you cry hiding in my closet, oh so shy couldnt pull you out even if i tried So there you'll remain, until i die
And the days now, they fly right by My mother and my father know i dont try All my secrets, i hope you'll find To the child ghosts you'll find, try to be real kind
Lock in this building, stored away My friends cry for help every day These cruel idol pillars tell us what to say but all these death grinned children just won't obey
Little blind girl, dont you cry Wailing in the closet 'cause we told a lie We're laying in the yard staring at the sky waiting for the moon, we'll be home real soon
Wounded friends, their haunting me swimming in my brain, wishing to be free I can hear them laughing with joy and glee this cruel memory, their calling me
Some kids made it, some kids won't My good friend smiled, thats what he told Lost in this place, my filthy abode All these smiles are making the dieing child cold
I remember, i can recall Our childhood's ended, or did they stall And our false saviors ignore our call Just a smile, hold a pose like a human-doll
Little blind girl, leave me be The more your ensare me, the more i see We were trapped in there, no way to flee Now the memories of pain have caught up to me
I once toold a walk down river trail Then the clouds, they parted and it began to hail The gods handed me a guilty grail In the river i drowned, refusing to sail
And now im hurting, im still afraid Graveyard nightmares where my old friends lay The mess is still there, they hate to play maid At the bottom of the river The trail, it must stay
