Friends in my nightmares

Friends in my nightmares

A Poem by isiah_holmes

I'd rather run from these pictures

I need to sprint from this dream,

It is hauntingy closet

Creeping under my mattress

Laughing at the worm

Squarming-burning slowly in the sun

Your screams, echoing down my hall

This moan-persistant groan

Charging through my door

Raping me in my sleep

Awaken..

WAKE UP!

I come to a cliff

Peering over the edge

Smiled at the sea of children

Then dove

They grasp me in their posionous arms

Tainting my intentions

I drift lifelessly with them now

Having walked through the door

I wait for an island now

The day I

Wash up half dead on shore.
