M.I.A

A Poem by isiah_holmes
"

A friend of mine was arrested recently after running from a friends house. We went to search for him but found only this, this is what i saw

"

  Running through the warm

Screaming for a storm

These frightened children, the revealing

They see now, they have found fear

They shed a tear, cry for their lost friend

Saddened, so close to the end

The end of the war season

The end of our sun drenched days

   Rain dancing through the town

The free bird kills the clown

These mock soldiers, standing on the shadowline

The threshold, unwilling to step over

In these finial days, the days we count

In these last hours of freedom

The end of our war, before we are confined

Speeding on my way home i find

My friend soldier, the young killer

My callous friend lost a man

His clan, his group

They have lost a man

He ran off over the shadow line

He escaped, evading his mind

Manifistation, subconscious echos

They screamed daggers into his thoughts

They made him awaken, his sins possesion

He became possessed, compelled by something other

A cruel instinctual thing, something we forgot

He thought

He believed he ran for cover

But instead he found beasts

He ran down the path and..

The path lined with lurking pigs..Hungrey ravonous pigs..

Monsters hiding, camofloged

   In the skys blue glow

We saw the lost boy

I found him first

Found the lost man as they grabbed him

As they grabbed him by his feet

They dragged him away in their tusks and teeth and fangs

He screamed but we were afraid to help him

He left his pistol, the rusted killer

  The soulless end

Glowing bright with dim hopes

We held it as a marker

   To spark to our encagement

We will wait now

 Lost in the cold seasons

Trapped in the cruel place

The brick house of lies

   Nessesary lies

Lie LIE LIE!!!

What they have taught us

The only thing that gives us worth

    Some decadent price
