Float away

Float away

A Poem by isiah_holmes

The air on the ocean surface shifted

Gracefully winding

Like the gears of a grand clock

Locked deep within the golden mine

The wind has changed, casting with it the past

This last breif visit

These recent days in a foggy haze

Has propelled the sparrow in a new way

The bird now floats with the wind

At the mercy of the kind element

Ignorent to the end

Said the sparrows friend

Ignorant to the end

The young bird floats down the crooked path

The path through the enchanted forest

The ancient friend

The bird floats towards the shadowy unknown

Curious to see what is at the end

To see how the dust now falls

Falls to the free elements call

Carry us to the new experience
