Child soldiers in my brain

Child soldiers in my brain

A Poem by isiah_holmes

The boys all try to find some solution

Cause all they do is worsen their own pollution's

All the hate

All their fates

Oh its never too late

Just find a little bait

You can even name her kate

Oh please close the gate before we get out and surcome to mass confusion.

My friend, you know, used to be a child soldier

And he saw it only made his heart get colder

But then he burned all his guns

Screaming "Lets have some fun'

His family he shuned

With life he was done

So now all his friends say "He could have been a little bolder'

His seargent lives in a old rotten seller

In the war he was his sqauds best plane bailer

But then he killed his old lover

All they found was a shell

He didnt run for cover

So they locked him in a cell

In the war we called him good old helter skelter

Very different style in this one. I like the imagery used. Well done. My fave lines by far:
My friend, you know, used to be a child soldier
And he saw it only made his heart get colder"
