Uncomfortably Helpless

Uncomfortably Helpless

A Poem by Isha Ethera
"

Random, uncomfortable sensations..

"

Wondering late night
Morning is far off
Breathing air without life

Eyes scream and burn
Fragile tight hands
Void of moisture

Suffocating numbness
Searing deep inside
One last lick

Aching insatiable thirst
Pain seeps through
Enveloping my world

Tender uneasy breath
Once more shifting
Tossing side to side

Nothing to do about the helpless feeling when one is locked in the cages of life. Very good piece

an uncomfortable sensation indeed. the wait of the dawn can make us so restless at times... no wonder all these feelings creep inside and time seems to have frozen...
exquisite read!

you make this restless, uneasy mind-state seem all too familiar.
