Red CurtainsA Poem by IsabellaWaiting for you to comeI was inside the hotel, you weren't around, the crowd was talking, you made no sound. Walking around the marvellous jars and high red curtains... Suddenly I heard somebody called your name. I was trying to find you in some ways, I just gave up at the first place: Inside this greek, red room, people excitedly came inside, but they weren't you. And there I stayed, patiently waiting. Waiting for you to come. But at the end I realized that there is no you along the way. So here I stay, saying words that cut my throat, with my blurried view, watching the fire, patiently waiting, waiting for you to come. © 2016 IsabellaAuthor's Note
