Why do they call it falling?

Why do they call it falling?

A Poem by isabelladev

I don't know why they say you can fall for someone.
I feel lighter than air.
My heart is soaring.
I could defy gravity if i wanted to.
I'm familiar with spiraling,
but I've never spiraled upwards like this.
In such a short amount of time,
I have climbed to a mountain top.
I have flown to the stratosphere.
The butterflies in my stomach
have lifted me off the ground.
If I were to fall,
they would be right there to catch me.
Why do they call it falling,
when nothing could bring me down?
