Feather

Feather

A Poem by Matthew Paul
"

Quick draft of an idea I was inspired to write about.

"

Let go of the grasp on now, wonder to where waters flow

sprightly roam through the woods which bare the echo

The voices of loved ones greeting like the untamed feather kiss from infinity

I look up; I see you

I look to myself; I see me

I look around to know nothing but everything as one thing

The echoes run through us

The river flows inside too

Wordless souls seek freely, like a lost baby who found mother

Emotionally silent

Shhh

Know the gift of love

The power of the smile

Feel the healing of you

Just breathe and see such ancient art

Witness to take part

Kiss on this stage

Nature comes alive with the true heart

Woah. I really liked this one. The imagery you used just captured me, from the first sentence to the last. It was so vivid, all these painted pictures of forests and people, it was quiet and soulful and I just loved it. =)
