Flat line

Flat line

A Poem by Matthew Paul
"

I can relate to feeling like this, and understand why it gets here. This poem is the adverse and sequel to Wave.

"

Flat line

Alone

Cold

Entrapped

Slain at mans hands

Frustrated

Restrained

Reigned

Chained to life's pain

Uncertain

Unsure

Uneasy

Uncommon and disillusioned

Hoping

Frowning

Crawling

Seeking a new way

Pure sentiment is powerful! I try to pack as much as possible into haiku. I like raw poems that are intrinisically captivating. Nice work.
