One Day

One Day

A Poem by Matthew Paul

In my heart

A flow to pen this portrait, painting pictures of pain from our parting bond

We view in vane powerless, the

possibilities once pending pass by

In my heart

Etched deeply is this Bluet

In the silver lining of eternity lays endless love

Graceful opening Gardenias bloom upon the green grasses, grown of

her will to give

In my heart

Her kisses I have collected and kept, these

tender treasures of courtship I carry close

Still, a faint flame flickers, the

trickling river of fortunes for our fate

Bless your heart, too

every choice that you make

We will hug.......

One day.

nice poem...love this line
A flow to pen this portrait, painting pictures of pain from our parting bond

We view in vane powerless
and I love the way you ended it.... so many people in their poems on a happy note , but just like life the poem ended with mystery ....nicely done.

I LOVE this piece:)

It is ver sad, but in a hopeful way, and the emotions and allusions in it are excellent and sound VERY personal and sentimental. I like the format, its not really one ive seen often, and your words, the way you phrase things and turn your sentences is very unique, welcome to the site and i hope you get to see her soon:)
