20090927A Chapter by ~ TexSunday Sunshine
“Conceive it. Believe it. Achieve it.” Words I’ve lived by all my life. Words we hear in sports. We all so readily believe in and embrace such things in our lives, relative to sports… but why do we limit ourselves to only that application? Consider this… if I put before you a gift, would you not accept it? Would you let it sit there and instead continue asking me for a gift? In life, we ask for things every day that we already have, but fail to accept. God says “I speak of nonexistent things as though they exist.” Simply put, blessings have already been placed before us… we simply have to accept them. If we don’t believe it how can we achieve it? We witness the power of the mind to overcome countless things. We know that the mind is the greatest pharmacy in the world… an endless history of placebo tests have proven just how powerful the mind and our belief truly is when we choose to believe. Therapists, coaches, friends… we all believe them when they say, “The only thing that stands between you and happiness… you and success… is you. Conceive… Believe.. Achieve” and yet when God says “I have granted you favor” we continue to ask for things that we merely need to believe in and accept. We do poison our lives with our mind when we say things like, “I’m always sick… I’ll never lose this weight… I’ll never be happy… I’ll never find someone who loves me…” We have already been given everything we need… …now we need to get that locked into our minds and simply accept the gifts that God and life have placed before us. That's my dose of Sunday Sunshine for those who choose to accept and embrace the things they have yet to realize are already there. :-) 1141Z20090927
