Time races,

Past so many places;

So many moments,

So many faces.

 

A blur,

The blinding sunlight;

One face stands out,

There to the right.

 

Your visage,

Clearest amongst the masses;

My hopes and dreams,

Your love surpasses.

 

A moment in time,

I step back and rewind;

All but you fade,

In this snapshot in my mind.
