Shennandoah Sunrise

Shennandoah Sunrise

A Poem by ~ Tex
"

Sometimes, there are moments that happen in our lives that seem unimportant, yet those moments will come full circle and bring clarity... perhaps shift paradigms. We all have them... and one day, on our day, we all recall them.

"

Shennandoah Sunrise

Places in time flash through my mind;
As the earth’s exhaled-breath hangs heavy in October air.

From my spot I see across miles and memories;
Rocky tops and green acres blanketed in winter whites and
harvested yellows.

All in one and all at once… both blur and clarity;
A million minutes in a micro moment.

Coated in yellow-orange glow...  accompanied by nature’s
symphony;
Dawn fades into day as my memories too wisp away.

Unable to hold them… unable to recall them…;
I look ahead and know I'll never stand alone.
