Extreme ConformityA Poem by Isa RuffattiOur teacher in 8th grade asked us to do a poem about the book "A Wrinkle in Time"by Madeleine D'Engle which prominently featured Extreme Conformity.Do you know why we think dream and want? Only the fact that we are human is right, For extreme conformity, nothing but order matters For many ask, what makes war? Humanity, is mine reply What else to do except extreme conformity? To deal with a creature as dangerous as ourselves Who can change the world in good or bad ways What a big responsibility to think dream and want Yet what a joy to live and thrive
