a stranger passes

a stranger passes

A Poem by cricket

roads headed away
away away away
becoming alone
beginning again

strangers
turning, passing
faces and smiles

changing
shifting
blurring

running down the road
a stranger
a face
passing you
smiling,
then continuing on

This makes me think of the saying "strangers to friends to strangers again"

Posted 1 Year Ago

We meet strangers every day - most of them remain strangers, but some of them could be future friends. Fate often depends on whichever road we take!
