Love

Love

A Poem by Iris M. Savaria

Love is never good

It may give you a hug

But it's so addicting

Might as well be a drug

It enjoys watching us fall

Until we can barely think

But when you come crashing down

Love is no longer pink

Holding someone elses heart

Tightly within my hands

Yet I find myself drifting

Finally taking a stand

I love my two boys

With all of my heart

But now theres a problem

I can't tear us apart

I'm praying to God

Using all of my might

Hoping I'll change my decision

Night, after Night

This is a nice poem. it's an interesting view on love with good points to back it up that still keep the poetry feel to it that keeps it flowing smoothly. Great job!
