Let this be the last time

I ever feel so hurt

He said it would be fast

That he'd always put me first

 

But I've made up all these stories

To hide what's underneath

I feel like I keep falling

The rug pulled beneath my feet

 

The pain keeps coming back

Destroying me once again

Hoping no one will find out

Or this might just be my end.
