A farewell note

As the sun slowly descends and night sets in,I am engulfed by an eerie silence and a never-ending solitude beckons me for the first time...a thousand answers and even more questions torture my being.Memories flood my heart and tears fill my eyes...and for the first time I realise that you're not there.I am blindfolded and pushed into an unknown world..a world,a life without you,where infinite pain,sorrow and grief awaits me.I want to tell you how I feel,but I find no strength nor the voice.You saw the world through my eyes, heard the soft cries of my poor heart and filled my world with glitters and sparks.You cried with me,laughed with me and walked beside me always.You picked me up when I fell down and pushed me when I gave up.You embraced my past,lived my present and cherished my future.My flaws never once deterred you from loving me.You stood with me through ups and downs,made me smile through day and night and guided me through dark and light.You saw me blossom when I saw you wither.You filled my pages in the book of life.From scribbles to sketches,from falls to flight you were there.You were my constant in this ever-changing world,the light in my darkness,the smile in my sadness,the tears in my sorrow,the love in my heart and the hope in my life.You are gone for now and forever....and this truth makes my heart crumble.And as I search for the pieces of my broken heart,it suddenly dawns that each one is a treasure...golden ones of the memories we shared together.An innocent smile plays on my lips as I close my eyes and relive those days.And I
