what waif doesn't dream

what waif doesn't dream

A Poem by The Shortcomings & Goings Of Mr. B. Griffin

what waif doesn't dream

of a life lived watching the vast endless sea

swept back and fro,

-cept, swallowed by the city is he,

in stasis, incomplete.

Short, simple, with a sharp point. The good thing is that all dreamers escape, sooner or later. Keep it up.

How true. How often do we dream of things peaceful and grand, yet we get caught up with in the cages of the steel and concret, in the cities of urban america.
You speak this well!
