And shaadi arrived.............

“Finally exams khatam!! Ab direct June mein papers mein milain ge!! Kal kiya treekh hai?” (Finally exams are finished! Now we will meet in June when we will come again for exams! What is the date tomorrow? )
“Chabbis, 26” (26)
“Chabbis, kal tou mera MCTS ka exam hai!” (26! Tomorrow is my MCTS exam!)

          -And begins-

“Mummy mummy aap chacha ko kehain aaj ka event koi aur manage kar lay kal mera mcts ka exam hai” (Mummy mummy! ask chacha that someone else manage today’s event! Tomorrow is my MCTS exam!), the stabbing feet stopped at in front of her near TV lounge and said with panting.

“Main nahi tum bolo gay kyun tum ne apne chacha ko kaha tha k tumhara naam likhay” (I will not, you will ask him because you asked your chacha to write down your name.)

“Mummy yaar, please” (Mummy, my friend, please.)

“Koi please wlease nahi acha khasa tumhari chachi ne mana liya tha Kashif ko k koi zaroorat nahi hai tumhein aagay aagay rakhnay ki liken nahi tumhein tou chain hi nahi aata, ab bhugto!”(No please! No wlease. Your chachi had already made Kashif not to put you in front in preparations of wedding but you turned everything upside down! Now suffer!)

“Kiya hua auntie? Sub theek hai? Kiya hua Fajahad?” (What happen auntie? Is everything alright? What happen Fajahad?), the argumentative chit chat travelled to Faraz’s room where Nida was talking on phone to Sadiq-secretary of Faraz and Nida, and that’s why Nida came out of room by saying “Ok Sadiq I will talk you later” and asked first her mother-in-law and then her brother-in-law.

“Nahi Nidi kuch theek nahi hai! Kal MCTS ka exam hai aur aaj shaadi! I have to manage it! Meri tou taiyaari bhi nahi hai! Main kiya karoon!” (No Nidi! Nothing is alright! Tomorrow is my MCTS exam and today is wedding! I have to manage it! I have no preparations for test! What should I do?), On seeing his sister-in-law in lounge, he foot it to her and told her.

“Acha, acha, tension nahi lo. Habiba pani laana tou!..idhar baitho, aao aao, baitho idhar. Dekho chaar chapters tou tumhe yaad hain. Baqi chapters abhi kartay hain. (They are easier. You can do it in hours. Theek hai”), Nida who first looked at her, who was seen from side pose, and then at him. She relaxed him, made him sit on sofa by sitting firstly and then dabbing on sofa to make him sit. She called home keeper to fetch water for him. And she herself told him how much the remaining chapter are easy.

He nodded and drank whole water in one breath.

“Dou glass mujhay dou, ek ghanta so jau foran. Phir parhnay baithtay hain”(Give glass to me, you go and sleep for an hour. Then we will study.)

                       -

2 O’ clock

3 O’ clock

4 O’ clock

and

5 O’ clock

For four hours, he was sitting in front of books with his Nidi, understanding and learning even after college exams.

After 5

“Acha bhabbi main chalta hoon, Khanna pauhchaana hai” (Okay bhabbi, I am going. I haveto deliver food.)

With books he drove too Parveen auntie’s house where he had her sweet sweet chai which swirl away sleep behind to check what is going on.

From there to Latif’s house to check starters and then to hall to check what’s going on there.

At 7 he was back.

The lesson began again. The understanding and cramming was going on.

At 9

“Ok Nidi baki ka baad mein, ab hall mein hona zaroori hai” (Ok Nidi, wwe will continue remaining ones afterwards. Right now, I have to be in hall.)

The bike was started when “Aray Fajahad main bhi tumharay saath aa rahi hoon, main dost k yahan utar jaoon gee” (Fajahad! I am also coming with you! I will go at friend’s place.), Farah came running in sari.

“Is huliyay mein, chador mehan k aao” (In this outfit! First wear shawl! And then come!)

“Hain kiya kharabi hai is mein?” (Haan! What’s wrong with this outfit?)

“Is mein tum meri behan kum biwi ziayada lag rahi ho!” (You are looking my wife more and my sister less in this outfit!)

“Kiya! Pagal wagal tou nahi hog aye tum!” (What! Are you crazy!)

“Kiya ho gaya hai kyun itna cheekh rahay ho” (What happen? Why are you shouting so much!)

“Nidi dekho na yeh keh raha main tumhein apnay saath is huliyay mein nahi lay jar aha tum is mein meri behan kum biwi ziyada lag rahi ho” (Nidi, see, he is saying that he will not take me with him because I am looking his wife more and his sister less in sari.)

“Issay choro, computer is k dimagh pe charh gaya hai, aaram se betho yahan par, kuch nahi karay gay yeh chor dey ga, kuch karay tou call kar dena” (Leave him. Computer science have occupied his whole brain. Sit here comfortably. He will not do anything to you. And drop you at your friend’s place. If he will do anything, call me.)

And the siblings went away.

                   --

“Aray bhaiya lightein yahan lagay gee, oopar kapra lagay ga….neechay haara kaaleen bichao, stage pe phool lagao….bridal room saaf karo” (Oh brother! Lights would be placed here! And cloth will be placed up……place the green carpet on floor, place flowers on stage…clean the bridal room.)

And the hall was ready.

Everyone started to come.

Among the shiny clothed gathering, Fajahad was only in his informal clothes in his signature red and black check shirt with dark blue jeans and sandals who was moving all around having headphones in ears and connected phone in jeans plus book in hand.

                ---

“Asalam O Alaikum auntie kaisi hain aap? Aap ki bahu kahan hai nazar nahi aarahi?” (Asalam o Alaikum auntie, how are you? Where is your daughter-in-law? She is not being seen.)

“Yeh rahi humari bhabbi, Nidi” (Here is our sister in law, Nidi.), Farah brought her “Wahan khari thi” (she was standing there.)

“MashAllah MashAllah! Faraz ne bilkul apne jaisi dhoondi hai! Benign aur khoobsurat!” (MashAllah MashAllah! Faraz has found a girl exactly like him! Gentle and beautiful!)

“Kiya Faraz shareef hai?” (Is Faraz benign?)

“Haan haan bilkul hai! Faraz ki tou sharafat ka yeh alam hai k koi agar chori bhi kar lay tou khud akelay mein khari khari sunaye gay a phir aisay rus daal daal kar sunaye ga k siwaye uss k koi samjh na sakay sirf takay uska bharam rah jaye. Faraz tou humara sharafat ka paikar hai paikar. Aur iski beghum bhi bilkul aisi hi hai…galay tou lago bhaee, humaray Faraz ki biwi ho tum.” (Yes, yes, of course he is! The level of Faraz’s gentleness is so high that he would insult the thief who steal his possession alone otherwise he would insult him in such a way that except him no one can understand the words so that thief would not lose his respect in front of everyone. And his wife is also like him…Now have a hug! You are our Faraz’s wife.)

Almond eyed Sadaf dressed in black saree and other almond eyed with innocent features having 6 feet height hugged each other.

                                                      ----

She was guiding him and he was taking her guidance while handling the wedding.

           -----

The ceremony was ended only family members were left.

Ali and his wife Mariam dressed in embroidered bridal red sharara sitting with his cousins around. “Yeh Fajahad kahan hai? Nazar hi nahi aaraha! Kasam se aaj bohat bonga lag raha hai! Hathon mein kitab, kanon mein head phones aur nazrein kitab par aur khanay par! Pagal lag raha hai! Hai kahan? ” (Where is Fajahad? He is not being seen! I swear he is looking dweeb today! Books in hand, headphones in ears and eyes in book and on food! He is looking insane today! Where is he? ), tall hard weight gainer Shameer, older brother of Sara, said. He flooded it out what he felt.

“Aaa haan” (Ohh), Ali cleared his throat while moving his iris from him to in front.

“Aray pagal yeh raha” (Oh here is the nerd!), Farah pushed him hard down.

He foot it to front remembering that Danay pe dana boy and that unability to understand electronegativity when they were in same grade in same school and suddenly he bent down and found that almond eyes with sharp jaws making the outline of squared face which had long nose and boyish pink lips enhanced by black hair.

“Yeh tou sach mein Fajahad hai!!” (He is Fajahad in actual!), he exclaimed.

But the eyes were still on books.

“Fajahad!!”, he shouted in his ears.

Still no response.

He walked behind him and shook him hard.

“Kiya hai!!” (What is it?), the response came hard.

“Tu zinda hai!” (You’re alive!),

“Charyay parhnay dey” (Let me study, ape!)

He walked away.

They all came there and sat around him.

“Yaar aaj tu kuch ziyada hi nahi par raha” (Aren’t you studying too much, today?), Shameer said.

“Theek hai kal tera exam hai” (it is okay if it is your exam tomorrow.), Sadiq said.

“MCTS ka” (of MCTS), and Fajahad stopped them with his heavy voice.

“Par thori dair” (but study little time.), Shameer said.

He didn’t response.

Ali slapped on his head. Shameer on his head and it went on.

Then one by one they all were saying “Fajahad, Faji, Faji and Faji”

He then walked into the car.

They all laughed.

After few minutes:

“Mujhay bata kiya help karoon teri, aisa hai mujhay suna dey” (How can I help you, tell me? Recall the learned work with me. ), Ali went out to help him.

Nida went in car to explain him.

                 -----

Leftover was collected and distributed in different shoppers and all went home.

But that night all were sleeping except Nidi who was helper and Fajahad who was cramming.
