Yellow tears guard

Yellow tears guard

A Poem by irena
"

about love and life

"
Breathe
it became difficult to
Overnight
You need a filter
Against smog rut
Your heart does not pump well
In this fuel
Handwriting
Distorted
As a clod of earth
When you crumb it on the ground
You scatter
And you are everywhere
But you are not

Breathe
There is no compromise
Your eyes will blanch
Cheeks turn green
Do not worry
You`ll have time to die
Of disease
Of love
(Or it is the same)

Stretch out your finger
Move the curtain
Look through window
I know that you have a window

These are the primrose
What you will notice
Street is the sun
That`s waiting for you to be its Ikarus
Blue birds are waiting for your ears
To jump into them
As headphones

You wanted
Loneliness to remain.
So much
That you don`t see yourself in the mirror
On a paper
On the night so deep
Like the eye of one in love
Drops of ink breaking your bones
Yellow candles weep yellow tears
While your eyes keep their guard

Breathe
You`ll have time to die.

Beautifully written, love the lines,
"Do not worry
You`ll have time to die
Of disease
Of love
(Or it is the same)"

and I found so much meaning in these words,
"You wanted
Loneliness to remain.
So much
That you don`t see yourself in the mirror"

Your poem is full of melancholy, yet almost seems like a meditation. I really like your poem.
