The Unbroken Promise

The Unbroken Promise

A Poem by Raven Samone'

Fascinations of imaginations; a chaotic world expressed by pure intent.
Where to begin on this journey still a loss clue only left to remain disguised.
The truth was, is, and will always be that nothing remains forever.
Right? Or wrong?
And the only time we seem to all love is when we have all lost, and it's sad.
Anger-she only visits me, but Hurt-I cant get rid of her!
(Try loving with a broken heart; trying understanding through confusion.)
Rose-she bloomed, but Thorn-she hid so perfectly, yet pricked me so intensely.
And the longing for veracity and virtue seems to be justifiable.
But the immorality of situations create an immense emotion.
Heartless?? I should be!
Right? Or wrong?
But, instead I love with unending care for the bond and attachment "believed" to exist.
Only to realize...that the ONLY unbroken promise is...
...Promises will be broken!
So, when you say to me "forever, i promise,"
No matter what the issue is...I have learned to believe the unbroken promise...
...Promises WILL be broken!
