Offering

Offering

A Poem by Jeremy D. Andrews

Know not why but only try

I feel to know as time goes by

Surely this is as is maybe

Unknown to be for me should be

Presently creating for you to see

everything terse but free from mean.

Loundly proclaimed but quietly breathing,

boiling over the fountain love strathing.

Calm brings the wonders clean

laughter, embrace, smile, beam.

What was mystery was only barely,

the greatest effort of hope merely.

Time will tell the tale of trials,

if our pains gap the valley for miles.

Will present often the latent hard sorrows,

softened with memories of cupid arrows.

Evening falls with unsaid feeling,

actions show which have more meaning.

As I go so shall things be known,

If not for love I would have shown.

I see you now as eyes must view,

angelic halo adorn of golden hue.

Love is love when loved shares loves,

so here I give all from wings of doves.
