Chained Embrace

Chained Embrace

A Poem by Jeremy D. Andrews

How long shall I wait to feel thy embrace?

The yearning passion engrossing my actions.

Please allow thy wanting heart fly,

release the flow of watershed grow.

Thy will be drawn, too focused to pause.

Give unto me thy heart so free.

Encumber not thy hands have sought.

Release these bonds and not abscond.

The key from me, is all you need.

Play no more my heart doth sore.

Of happy times thy life will mime,

unless thy grace be set in place.

So remember now these words to sow.

The softer touch of lifes hard crutch.

You are not alone nor on your own.

I stand before you, to offer so true.

A love of mine, completely sublime.

Again I ask thee, to set me free.

How long shall I wait to feel thy embrace?
