Freedom From

Freedom From

A Poem by Jeremy D. Andrews
"

Just thoughts on freedom. no real style involved, kinda mixed up

"

I am free they say, but at what price

Was what who wondered when,

never knowing necessitates need.

You always know those who are free.

They treat tyrants too timidly,

always aware anybody awaits.

To take what they thought was freedom abound.

I am free they say, but at what price.

Fighting furiously forever floundering

because being born berates boundaries

The strong take over and give at will

creating caution carelessly culminating

speech sparks sparingly sarcasms soul

Say what you want, but watch what you say.

I am free they say, but at what price.

Righteous ranks write writ red

managing money making mountains move

Believe who you want, but only our god.

goodly greatness graciously giving gone

only operating on oppression over

We are right, you are wrong.

I am free they say, but at what price.

happy has heavenly hinderment hate.

pursue purposefully pain progressions plan

be reasonable or live without thy own

designing definite diadem does demand

irritating icons irrevelantly imposing illogical

Your will is broken, you can go no farther.

I am free they say, but at what price.

Everlasting equally emerges empathically enter

losing lords lucid laughing lament

You can be like us, just act like us.

unrelenting usually under unprecedent use

just jesus joins jaded jury

Sinners now and always be to them.

I am free they say, but at what price.

very vivacious voters vehemouth value

you yards yelling yesses yore

I am the poeple just wait and see.

keep killing key kites kharma

queezy quietness questions quip queer

I am your leader now, but not like I say.

I am free they say, but at what price.

Infinite agony falls toward sanctions

believed all warnings pride.

Ignore altruisms fashionable token signature

because after whimsical pardons

they say free I am, at what but price.

Your freedom of course, there is no other price.

Freedom is no longer what it was, here's to a time when freedom does exist, in the true sense of the word! Great poem!
