As we say goodbye to this past year
and welcome in the new
We will leave behind old fears and problems
With solutions and prosperity long overdue.

We will bring in the year in a positive frame of mind.
We will feel our souls lifting with spiritual awareness
And we will climb.

We will leave to past negative attitudes
That lead to depression and despair.
We will replace the I can’t, but, if and only
With love and attentive care.

This year brings new blessings
We will be prepared to receive.
