Unacceptable Excuses

i'm sick that these excuses are coming up in the highest levels of our government.

"it's just locker room talk"
"all men do it"
"boys will be boys"
"who hasn't done that?"
"haven't we all drunk too much?"
"it's just boys bragging"
"she didn't fight it"
"we were just playing"
"she's trying to ruin me"

"she's confused. it wasn't me"

revolting that these words were ever said.

worse, that these words were ever believed.

what happened to empathy?

what happened to humanity?

the ship of state has run aground.
