When Times Change

When Times Change

A Poem by Andrea
"

A poem about the ever-changing times, in reference to our lives that can at one moment, be as dark as night, and at another, be the sunniest day.

"

When the sun kisses the horizon,

Beams shoot out in an orange ray.

Bathing the world in its sunset hues,

Signals the end of another day.

Stars glint in the midnight blue,

Twinkling like diamonds of a kind.

Shooting stars streak across the sky,

The end of which is hard to find.

Dawn breaks and lights the world,

Sun in glory and stars forlorn.

Shadows stunted and roosters crow,

Tells us that a new day is born.

Wrote this during an exam when I was done with my paper. It's a little short, I admit, but I was having writer's block at the time. :P
