Sonnet III

Sonnet III

A Poem by Amber Sun
"

Written before I payed attention to meter.

"

All through life I've sought ever after
reaching through dreams and battles fought
to find you amongst the nagging laughter
no origins bring yet still comes fraught
upon the torrential winds of thought
to thwart our union and damn creation
which like the unicorn had not brought
you my love, black rose, my elation.
I will not, dare not, cause starvation
of my need to find you somewhere
even if only in my imagination
I am but merely searching there
to find you my dear and what fate
has deemed to name my true soulmate.
