Sonnet IIA Poem by Amber SunWritten before I payed attention to meter. That virgin beach no footfall knew, Before thy sands let me bestow, Relentless waves of innocent folly, From whence the tides of melancholy, Now the staggered footing bereft, Leaves unwonted clinging to cleft, To meet the sea's beating hands, Unbowed to the last of my stands.
