BIRD IN A BOTTLEA Poem by Van Benjamin
Sorry.
I broke the bottle. I was a dust, Blown by air, anywhere To oblivion. Drowned by the world. Sorry. I break the bottle. I am an omnivore Do not know what to have Greens or flesh. Surrounded by ashes. Sorry. I will break the bottle. I am a bird. Wants to fly with the smoke, But still swallow the clouds. Help me! Please! I know, It is my fault. And will always be my fault. Sorry, If I broke the bottle, If I broke my home. © 2016 Van BenjaminAuthor's Note
