Chapter 24 RoarA Chapter by Jessica L. W. Terrian had just passed out for the second time when a rustle came a tree, and out comes a guard. He was muscular, tall, beautiful blonde hair, long, this man had helmet hair. Marilynn screams, child! Don’t scream in front of this god-like man. I hear Terrian groan as he stands up. I watch the beautiful man walk up to Marilynn, and bow. “I am here to serve you, Princess.” His voice is golden, so deep, so beautiful. “Jeb?” Jeb? That was the little runt? That little runt who thought he was Marilynn’s soul mate? Jeb smiles at Marilynn, “It’s good to see you again.” He stands up. He looks at Terrian. “You’re the dragon? Wow, you’re just a kid.” I run up to Jeb. “Jeb! It’s been so long darling!” He stares at me. His eyes are green. “You were the one that spread rumors about Marilynn, told everyone to kill her, and wouldn’t let me see her when the King died.” He turns back to Terrian and starts talking, but I don’t hear anything, am I really that evil to the eyes of this golden man? I sit back near the campfire. Heh, if only Kevin could see me like this, tossed aside by a man I want. That has never happened before. I remember when I confessed to Kevin. We were in the woods, watching the birds fly. It then started to rain. We had taken shelter under a huge tree. “Madelyn, look.” He pointed to nest of baby birds, I smiled. “Kevin.” I looked at him, he looked at me. I kissed him, “I love you.” I said. His reply was another kiss. We kissed in till the rain was gone. I look at Jeb, he was on the ground, Terrian standing there, standing there staring there, he yelled. “Don’t touch her!” Well, it was more roar than yell. © 2011 Jessica L. W.Author's Note
