Chapter 18 Red

    Marilynn stayed close to Terrian’s side. This Terrian, he stared at me with hate. Even when that glare was on his face, you could see the tears hiding.

    “What happened to him?” I ask Marilynn.

    Marilynn looks up at Terrian, Terrian looks at her for a second, than looks away, “His sister died recently. Oh, Terrian! That reminds me, I spoke with Autumn.”

    Terrian looks at Marilynn, “What? When? And why didn’t you tell me sooner?”

    “Autumn? Who is this Autumn?” I ask. Marilynn and Terrian stare at me.

    Terrian whispers something to Marilynn. Marilynn says, “Autumn is, was, his sister.” She looks at Terrian, “It was right after you left; she started asking where you were.” She looks down, “She’s in Limbo.”

    Terrian stares at her, than turns around and slams his fist into a tree, he was crying. Softie.

    “Get over it, one death doesn’t mean the end of the world.” I stare at him, “Stop worrying about the dead and worry about Marilynn, Jace is after her!” I shout.

    “Mother!” Marilynn shouts.

    “It’s fine, Princess, she’s right.” Terrian was looking at Marilynn. “We need to start-” His head snaps to the left, towards the woods, “We need to get out of here.” He grabs Marilynn’s hand and rushes away from here, leaving me here.

    I here a snap, a twig breaking, someone’s coming! I start following them.

    I made it to a clearing. Marilynn was on a red dragon! She holds her hand out to me, a scared look on her face.

    “Hop on!” She shouts.

    I stand there, terrified, why is she on that red dragon, and where’s Terrian?

    The dragon stands up, his wings spread away from his body. Marilynn screams a little.

    The dragon flaps his wings and is up in the air. I watch him fly, I hear guards at the edge of the clearing. The dragon swoops down and all I saw was sharp claws before I pass out.
