Chapter 5 friend

Chapter 5 friend

A Chapter by Jessica L. W.

She never had a real friend? That’s surprising. Couldn’t she just hire someone to be her friend? Well those people wouldn’t be real friends.

Wait, there was a maid, Alice, she was a true friend, then the queen convince her that she’s evil. The queen is being abused by the new king. The queen isn’t really evil!

“Autumn? Are you psychic? You seem to know everything.” Princess Marilynn asked.

“Yes I am. You should stay here for now. Home is too dangerous now.” I replied.

I looked into the future. I see us going farther into the woods, tomorrow I think.

We talked, for hours. We ate lunch, ham sandwiches. Talked in till dinner, ate diner, little smokies over the fire, talked till night. Then I left her.

“Why do you have to go? Why can’t you just stay here with me?” Marilynn asked.

“You know I have to take of Terrian. He’s maybe sixteen, but he sucks at taking care of him self.” I answered, laughing.

On the way home, I see Terrian, flying in the air, in dragon form. He lands right in front of me, turns human, and starts yelling.

“What are you doing with the princess? She’s a wanted criminal! She could’ve hurt you! She killed the king remember!”

He had Dad’s black hair, styled with his bangs covering his face, Mom’s yellow eyes and a skinny nose.

“No she didn’t. He died of illness, remember? Anyways the new king wants her dead, and he will do anything to make sure it’s done.” I answered calmly.

He stared at me, he knew my power, and I don’t lie.

“Are you sure?” He asked, “She can’t be that innocent. She’s Emo! Emo kids always get into trouble, right?” He looked confused.

“The Emo kids you know may get into trouble, but remember, everybody is different. Now let’s go home.” I said as I walked by him.

“Autumn, promise me you won’t see her anymore.” He demanded, grabbing my arm.

I smiled at him, “No.” I simply say. I broke free of his grip and looked into his eyes. Princess Marilynn was in his future.

He walked towards Marilynn, “Let’s go have a word with this so called ‘Princess.’”

I followed him, “Don’t hurt her, she’s fragile.”

When Terrian got to Marilynn, she jumped up from where she was sitting.

“Autumn, who’s this?” Marilynn asked, staring at Terrian.

Terrian stared at her, “That is none for your business, ‘Princess.’” He said that last part with a sneer.

I had a vision, I saw Terrian, in dragon form, and the princess behind him, terrified, in rocky terrain.

    My legs buckled.

“Autumn? You okay?” When the vision ended, I saw Marilynn, sitting down next to me.

“Of course she’s fine. She just had a vision.” That was Terrian, standing, looking at me worried.

I grinned, “Sorry, it’s nothing.” I got up, brushed the dirt of me.

“You sure? Your visions usually are very important.” Terrian asked me.

“Autumn, who is this? He knows a lot about you.” Marilynn asked, she was standing behind me.

“This is my brother, Terrian.” Terrian crossed his arms.

“Hi Terrian.” She says with a smile.

He stares in her eyes, and grins, “No way could you be as bad as they say.”

Well, now she has two people who don’t hate her, she has two friends.
