Chapter 2 Autumn

Chapter 2 Autumn

A Chapter by Jessica L. W.

“Thank you, goodbye.” I said.

“Your welcome, Autumn. We hope to see you soon.” The shopkeeper said. I just had bought some groceries, and other things I need.

I was walking down the sidewalk, when I see her, a girl with black wavy hair, bright green eyes, very pale skin. I could’ve sworn that was the princess, but she was wearing a black dress with purple stars, and she had heavy eyeliner.

I looked into her eyes. The king died, depression starts, lonely, depression grows, new step dad, depression takes hold, step dad convinces queen to kill her, depression getting worse, queen tries to kill her, depression drives her off the edge. This is the princess!

She already passed before I could talk to her. I looked to where she was towards, and followed her.

She ran into the woods, and I followed her.

Should I talk to her? No, that is stupid. What would I say? Hi I’m Autumn, and I followed you into the woods to help you? She wouldn’t believe me. She’d probably think I’m stalking her.

I ran a hand over my red hair, it’s too long, I need to get it cut, and it’s already to my shins.

I watched her, she looked cold, and she was wearing a dress. I grabbed some matches I bought at the grocery store and put them somewhere she will find them soon.

She found them about three minutes later. Soon she had built a campfire, I looked towards the castle and see a section off it burst into flames, I knew instantly that was her room. I looked at her, and saw a tear go down the side off her face. I felt sorry for her, her mother hates her, to make her look good in front off her husband.

I heard Princess Marilynn’s stomach growl. I got out a can off green beans and place them where she’ll see them.

When she found them, she said “Um, whoever is helping me, thank you very much. Please let me see your face. It would mean a lot to me.”

I didn’t come out. Instead I left a twelve pack of toilet paper, a blanket, some pillows, and some bags of fruit, and went home, regretting not showing my face, but knowing it was the right thing to do.
