Richard-Cory ish poem.....

A Poem by Ashlee

Everyday, Maria walked through the halls

Everyone would always stop to stare.

She laughed and smiled, she acted like a doll.

She carried herself with grace, and behind her flowed her hair.

She carried around a small black book.

And giggled like crazy as she would write.

Words of love and wisdom she took.

Nothing that would give us a fright.

She was smart and charming.

Any guy would agree.

Girls went to her for anything alarming.

She never turned down advice with a plea.

Everyone left just as they came.

With no thank you, they became the same.

She went to the bathroom in bliss.

And sliced her arm from elbow to wrist.
