MY ONLY STAR

The sky is vast;
Billions of stars are
Brilliantly shining upon it
But you, my star,
Still shine the brightest.
Oh! How the day would always want
To hide you from me.
But I kept the night into the deepest
Corner of my heart
That I may never lose sight of you.
My star, my only star,
Your brilliance will live
For hundreds and thousands of years.
And I shall not see you lose your light
